Open roles across the team
We're hiring for leadership, teaching, marketing, and fundraising. Every role logs volunteer hours. You get real experience — teaching, running events, posting, or talking to sponsors — that belongs on a resume and college apps.
Bay Area high schoolers only
Every hire must be a current high school student (grades 9–12) who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. These are in-person roles. Remote, college, and out-of-area applications will not be reviewed.
Leadership
Own a function, coordinate teammates, and keep CodeStarters moving week to week.

Director of Recruitment
Run volunteer recruiting, screen applicants, and help fill open roles across the org.

Plan and run CodeStarters events, from class logistics to community gatherings.

- Show up and run the room when an event is live

Recruitment
Help screen applicants, follow up with candidates, and keep recruiting organized.
